Real Ale Ltd. takes its responsibility to the environment very seriously, and we constantly monitor our environmental impact and 'carbon footprint'.  That's why we are shortly going to be taking part in the Richmond Upon Thames 'Pledge to Go Green', where we have pledged to take action to reduce our environmental impact.  At the moment we:

• Recycle all packaging, including cardboard and plastic.
• Recycle all used bottles as well as returning them to our suppliers.
• Use recycled packaging materials when sending orders via our courier.
  
• Encourage staff to travel by bicycle, public transport or walk to work.
  
• Turn off heating, lights and equipment out of business working hours and when not in use.
• Fit energy efficient light bulbs.
