Description An amber ale with an aroma of caramel-like malt and tangerine citrus. The taste is bittersweet, with more juicy tangerines, light tangy hops and smooth, unobtrusive malt. The hoppy, bitter finish is slow to develop but has a faint caramel flavour and some lingering citrus fruits.
The Brewery Sharpʼs was founded in 1994 and since then has become one of the fastest growing UK breweries.
Interesting Fact Brewed once a year from new season barley and hops. The beer is matured at the brewery for two months before being bottled.
Food to accompany Sticking to its coastal roots, this bitter goes very well with battered haddock or cod and chips. |
